01 · CURRENT SCOPE
What this notice covers.
This notice applies to www.wemiqo.com and the WEMIQO Android and iOS applications in their current browsing release. WEMIQO is still preparing its commerce operations. This notice does not represent legal approval, a payment arrangement, a logistics promise or transactional readiness.
The current experience does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, password, payment credential or government identifier. Please do not enter sensitive information into search, address labels or other free-text fields.
02 · DATA ON YOUR DEVICE
Useful choices stay local.
WEMIQO uses browser storage or app storage so basic browsing choices can remain available when you return. These records are not customer accounts.
Website delivery context
A six-digit pincode and optional place label are saved in your browser. The website does not request precise device location.
App delivery location
If you save it, the label, address and pincode are held in the app's on-device storage.
Saved pieces
Product handles used for your wishlist are stored on the same browser or app installation.
Preferences and searches
Recent search terms and, in the app, chosen style categories are stored locally so you can revisit them.
Anonymous bag reference
If verified shopping is enabled later, a necessary bag identifier may be kept in a secure browser cookie or app storage. It is not an account login.
What is not stored here
The current release does not store payment-card details, account passwords, order history or identity documents.
03 · LOCATION PERMISSION
Location is optional and foreground-only.
The mobile app asks for foreground location permission only after you tap Use current location. If you allow it, the device obtains a current position and its operating-system location service may reverse-geocode that position into an address. WEMIQO saves only the resulting address, label and pincode that you review and choose to save.
- No background location permission is requested.
- WEMIQO does not continuously track your movement.
- You may deny permission and enter an address and pincode manually.
- You can remove the saved location in the app or revoke permission in device settings.
04 · NETWORK REQUESTS
HTTPS checks keep unavailable features closed.
When the mobile app is configured with a verified WEMIQO-owned HTTPS API, it checks a status endpoint to learn whether catalogue, bag and checkout capabilities are enabled. That status request does not include your saved address, wishlist, style preferences or recent-search history.
The app sends search words or handles from your saved list only after the verified status check reports that catalogue access is enabled. The website also checks catalogue status before requesting details for locally saved pieces. In the current pre-commerce configuration these values are not sent for catalogue lookup. If catalogue access is enabled later, the app or website may send the search words you submit, product handles you request, or an anonymous bag reference to the WEMIQO service. Standard hosting and security systems may process technical request information such as IP address, request time, path, browser or device type, and security diagnostics. Such infrastructure records follow the relevant provider's operational retention schedule.
The current code does not include an advertising SDK, cross-app tracking SDK or customer analytics profile. WEMIQO does not sell the on-device choices described above.
05 · SHARING AND RETENTION
Limited to providing and protecting the service.
On-device location, saved pieces, style preferences and recent searches are not currently uploaded as a WEMIQO customer profile. Technical request data may be handled by infrastructure providers only to deliver, secure and diagnose the website or API. If product media is enabled, the applicable catalogue or media service may receive the network request needed to deliver that content.
Local records remain until you remove them, clear browser or app storage, or uninstall the app. Anonymous bag references, if introduced, will have their own limited operational life. WEMIQO will update this notice before adding accounts, payments, order fulfilment, marketing profiles or materially different data uses.
06 · YOUR CONTROLS
Review, remove or reset.
- Remove a saved website pincode from its delivery-location control.
- Clear recent searches from the Search screen.
- Remove saved pieces individually, or use the all-device reset described on the data-deletion page.
- In the app, remove a saved location, clear preferences, revoke location permission, clear app storage or uninstall the app.
There is currently no server customer account to delete. See Delete account & local data for exact current steps and the status of future account deletion.
07 · SECURITY AND UPDATES
Designed to fail closed.
Configured app-service calls require an approved HTTPS WEMIQO origin, and unavailable commerce functions remain closed. On-device application storage is not a secure vault, so it should never be used for card details, passwords or identity documents.
This experience is intended for a general fashion audience and is not designed to collect children's personal information. Because no account or order intake exists, WEMIQO does not knowingly maintain a child customer profile in this release.
WEMIQO may revise this notice as the service changes. The effective date at the top will change when a material update is published. A verified privacy contact and responsible legal entity will be added before customer accounts or transactions are opened.
